This wiki aims to be an impartial information base for Home Theatre PC's (HTPC), collating information from a variety of sources in order to help those looking to build or improve their own Home Theatre PC.

It also offers a means to communicate with other like minded people, to ask for and offer help through the forums.

Background

This wiki was founded by Euan Andrews on the 27th December 2007.

Euan Andrews, a self confessed movie fanatic and PC enthusiast, came apoun the idea of building the HTPC nz wiki as a way of combining his interests while increasing his own knowledge in the area, so to not only eventually build his own HTPC, but also build for others.

Linking

We strongly encourage that if you find something helpful that you tell others, and the best way to do this is to link from your forum post or blog. Copy and pasting always works - however given the nature of this wiki, this project is changing all the time.
